Fashion designer Masaba Gupta premiered her first ever bridal collection at Shaadi by Marriott, an event which was hosted at the JW Marriott Kolkata in the city on Saturday (Nov 24, 2018). A fashion presentation by the House of Masaba was organised in the city. Masaba's collection, which is ode to the modern bride, was presented in the format of a wedding that began with a Marwari Sangeet and culminated in a Bengali marriage. L’Oréal Professionnel has created a platform in India to recognize hairdressers for their art and creative talent at a national level – the Indian Hairdressing Awards. This competition has been designed to handpick the best of hairdressing talent across four categories. The competition includes four regional rounds and a national finale. The East Region Final, which was held in Kolkata, gathered under one roof, the best of hairdressing talent from across the East. L’Oréal Professionnel had invited hairdressers from across the country to showcase their hair artistry in a creative category of their choice: Colour Trophy, Cut; Style, Young Colourist and Men’s Image. As the annual film carnival- the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF)- got underway in the eastern city, IBNS captures the celebrities up close and personal from various events and venues of the festival.
