West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed the media after her party won hugely in West Bengal. Trinamool Congress supporters erupted in joy and celebrated in West Bengal with the winning of the party in the polls on Thursday (May 19, 2016). The main celebrations were outside the Harish Chatterjee Street house of Mamata Banerjee. As counting of votes progressed, in West Bengal, TMC is ahead in 217 seats while the Left-Congress alliance led in 70 seats. BJP led in three.
