Lucknow/UNI: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said the state budget presented by the Yogi Adityanath government lacks vision and roadmap.

Addressing a press conference here, Yadav said with the presentation of the financial blueprint, it has been proved that the government lacks vision and roadmap due to which people of the state continue to suffer.

The youths and women have been deprived of any sops in the budget, he said.

"The government has done nothing to study the problems of the people and the budget is just a bundle of papers with no commitment," he further said.

"As the government has not given any incentive, so you can assume that no investments have been made so far in the state," he further claimed.

The SP president also raked up the issue of Poorwanchal expressway, saying that it was the brainchild of his government but now the BJP was taking all the credit by changing its name and alignment.

He questioned the claim of the Yogi Adityanath government of giving pace to the development in the state.
