Yeddyurappa quits as MLA
Bangalore, May 25 (IBNS): Following his election to the Lok Sabha, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader BS Yeddyurappa has submitted his resignation as an MLA to the Speaker of Karnataka Assembly, reports said.
Yeddyurappa won the LS polls from Shimoga seat in Karnataka.
He was elected to the state Assembly from Shikaripura constituency as Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP) candidate.
Yeddyurappa's KJP later merged with the BJP.
