Woman gang-raped in Meerut village at gunpoint

Meerut, Jan 3 (IBNS) Four men allegedly abducted and gang-raped a 22-year-old woman in Meerut's Daurala in Uttar Pradesh when she had gone out to relieve herself in a forest area, said delayed reports on Saturday.

Reports said the incident  occurred on Dec 25 when the girl was raped at gunpoint by the men who also threatened to kill her if she revealed the crime. 

Later a police complaint was lodged against the accused who belonged to the girl's village. 

Earlier, a teenaged girl of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh has allegedly been raped by two police constables inside a car on Wednesday night, said police.

According to reports, the girl had gone out in the night for toilet when she was caught by the cops who dragged her inside a car and raped her.

The two cops are missing since the incident though a hunt is on to trace them.
