Why I have been singled out ? "Bhagwant Mann asks probe panel on video controversy

New Delhi, July 28 (IBNS) : Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann has reportedly told an inquiry committee of MPs that he didn't violate any security protocol by live-streaming a video of Parliament.

According to media reports, Mann, who has been suspended from Parliament till the probe committee submits  in a five-page letter, has said: "Many TV channels report from the parliament complex and if there is no violation by them, why have I been singled out?"

A nine-member Parliamentary committee, headed by  Kirit Somaiya of the ruling BJP, reviewed the 12-minute film that was posted by  Mann on Facebook last week. While on his way to Parliament, Mann had taken the video capturing the photos of high security buildings.

Parliamentarians representing various parties took strong exception to the act and accused the AAP MP of compromising security of the high-security building with his video.

Man says it is an  "educational video" for the people of his constituency in Punjab to get a first-hand account of how parliament functions.
