New Delhi, Jul 3 (IBNS): Causing trouble to scores of netizens, social networking apps WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook's services are experiencing technical glitches on Wednesday.

The problem seems to be global one, with media reports and tweets suggesting that the issue is faced by netizens across Europe, USA and Africa as well.

In India, while the WhatsApp chat interface and Instagram posts and stories are active without any hindrance, sharing any form of media, including audio and images, have been hit.

Meanwhile, Facebook has acknowledged the problem and said that it is working towards fixing the same.

"We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps. We're sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. #facebookdown," Facebook tweeted.

Taking cognizance of the problem, Instagram also tweeted: "We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images and videos on Instagram. We're sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. #instagramdown"
