Western Railways announces special trains for IPL final clash

The IPL final is around the corner, and keeping in mind the grand event, Western Railways has announced special trains between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad.

"Western Railway announces a special train service between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad," DRM Ahmedabad wrote on X.

The train will run with a Shatabdi rake comprising Executive Chair Car, AC Chair Car, Anubhuti Class coaches, and a Vistadome coach, offering a comfortable and premium travel experience.

" Booking for Train Nos. 09021/09022 will open on 30 May 2026 at all PRS Counters and on the IRCTC website," the DRM Ahmedabad wrote on X.

  The train will give an additional option to cricket lovers to visit the stadium and enjoy the match

The train No. 09021 will leave Mumbai Central at 6:20 am on May 31 and reach Ahmedabad at 12:40 pm, giving an option to cricket fans to visit the stadium and return on the same day.

The return train, Train No. 09022, will depart Ahmedabad at 3:10 pm and arrive at Mumbai Central at 9:45 pm, giving a chance for cricketers to enjoy the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad Stadium.
