West Bengal: 2 kids electrocuted, another seriously hurt in North 24 Parganas

Kolkata, Jul 13 (IBNS): Two children died and a teenager was seriously injured after touching an electric fence at Sendanga area under Ashoknagar Police Station limits in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Thursday evening, reports said.

According to reports, when few children were playing hide-and-sick, three of them accidentally touched an electric fence outside a local poultry firm.

After being rescued, the trio was rushed to a nearby hospital where two kids were pronounced dead and the third one is currently under treatment in a critical condition.

Police, however, have started investigation into the matter.
