Kolkata, Sept 14 (IBNS): After getting direction from West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, police on Monday arrested the MLA of Diamond Harbour assembly constituency Dipak Kumar Halder for allegedly taking part in a clash between two groups of students at Fakir Chand College in Diamond Harbour area in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district.

According to reports, two groups of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad (TMCP) engaged in a clash with each other on Monday in presence of the police.
