Wanted criminal arrested in Etawah

Etawah, Mar 13 (UNI) A notorious criminal, carrying reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, was arrested after an encounter in Badpura area here on Wednesday.

Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Santosh Kumar Mishra here said that acting on tip-off police team arrested the notorious criminal Atul Chaudhary near Etawah-Gwalior highway. Atul was injured in cross firing during encounter, he pointed out.

One country-made pistol, some cartridges and three mobiles were recovered from arrested criminal. Over 15 criminal cases were registered against him in several police stations and reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest.
