Visa on arrival for Japan nationals in India: Modi
New Delhi, Dec 12 (Not in Town/IBNS): India will offer visa on arrival for Japanese nationals, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
"India will extend 'visa on arrival' to Japanese citizens including for business purpose from 1st March 2016," said Modi in the presence of visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
"This is different from the electronic visa facility that is being extended globally," said Modi.
India and Japan on Saturday signed agreements for introducing high speed train in India with Japanese collaboration besides inking pacts on civil nuclear energy as the two prime ministers Narendra Modi and Shinzo Abe held bilateral talks at the Hyderabad House here during the ongoing visit of Abe to India.
