Veteran journalist Vinod Mehta dies

New Delhi, Mar 8 (IBNS): Veteran journalist and Outlook Group's editorial chairman Vinod Mehta died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Sunday.
He was 72.
 
According to reports, Mehta was on a ventilatory support after he had a massive cardiac arrest on Thursday.
 
He released his second book Editor Unplugged recently.
 
Mehta had worked with several leading publications including Debonair, Sunday Observer, Pioneer and Indian Post.
 
Condoling his demise, Prime Minister Naredra Modi tweeted: "Frank & direct in his opinions, Vinod Mehta will be remembered as a fine journalist & writer. Condolences to his family on his demise."
