Uttar Pradesh: Stampede at Mayawati's rally, 2 killed
Lucknow , Oct 9 (IBNS): A stampede during a rally of Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mawayati in Uttar Pradesh left two people dead on Sunday, media reports said.
Several people have been reportedly injured in the mishap which occurred in state capital Lucknow.
According to reports, huge number of BSP supporters had assembled at the venue when the stampede occurred.
Hundreds are said to be missing, among whom are 15 children, NDTV reported quoting police sources.
Doctors have rushed to the spot.
