Uttar Pradesh: Road accident kills five, injures 24

Unnao, May 18 (UNI): At least five people were killed while 24 others sustained injuries,when a luxury bus overturned after hitting a tractor trolley in Bangarmau area of the district on Agra-Lucknow Expressway early on Saturday morning.

Among the 24 people injured, four were stated to be critical.

Police said that the accident occurred at 4:30 am when the driver lost its control over the steering wheel and hit the tractor trolley.

The bus which was going to Bihar from Gurugram- carried around 70 passengers.

Injured have been admitted to the government hospital and efforts were made to identify the deceased, police said.
