Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Harshita Gangwar said the incident took place in Bamhori village where an intermediate student was kidnapped by the miscreants.

"The miscreants held the victim's grandfather, who was accompanying her, and kidnapped the girl," she said.

She said later the victim's grandfather reached Kotwali police station and narrated the incident.
