Uttar Pradesh: Four women killed, 22 injured as tractor-trolley overturns in Jhansi

Jhansi, Oct 30 (UNI) Four women died and 22 others were injured when a tractor-trolley of pilgrims overturned in this district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.

According to police, the driver of the tractor-trolley lost control over the vehicle resulting in its fall into a ditch. Four women were killed on the spot in the accident while 22 others were injured.

The deceased have been identified as Suman Yadav, Imarti Yadav, Kranti Sen and Rajkumari Yadav.

The pilgrims were going to pay obeisance at Ratangarh Mata temple.

Upon receiving information, police rushed the injured to a hospital with the help of Dial-100. Critically injured have been admitted to Jhansi Medical College.
