Lucknow, Jan 12 (IBNS): An FIR has been registered against Uttar Pradesh transport minister and Samajwadi Party leader Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and two others for violating the model code of conduct in Fatehpur, according to media reports.

UP police lodged the FIR after 4,452 saris were recovered from a vehicle on its way to Amethi, media reported.
