Union Minister's son booked for rash driving in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (IBNS) Union Minister Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary's son Karthik was booked for negligent driving by the Hyderabad traffic police on Saturday,reports said.

The Hyderabad traffic police, as a part of road safety drive, had put up barricades at the important intersections in the city on Saturday morning.

During the drive, they found a Porsche being driven with a breakneck speed at Banjara Hills. The vehicle was intercepted to find the driver to be the son of Minister of State for Ministry of Science & Technology & Earth Sciences.

Karthik's Porsche was seized and he was taken into custody.

In the road safety drive, apart from Karthik, 14 youngsters were involved in road-racing on Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.
