Union Home Minister Amit Shah to review COVID-19 situation in Delhi on Sunday

New Delhi/UNI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will hold a meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Delhi Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others in view of the pandemic situation in the national capital on Sunday at 1100 hrs.

According to the Home Minister's Office, members of the State Disaster Management Authority here will also be present in the meeting.

AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria and other top official will also be present in the meeting.

'Home Minister, Shri @AmitShahand Health Minister, @drharshvardhan to hold meeting with @LtGovDelhi, CM Delhi & members of SDMA to review situation in the capital regarding COVID-19 tomorrow, 14th June at 11 am. Director AIIMS and other senior officers would also be present,' the office of the Home Minister of India said in a tweet.

The situation of the COVID contagion is deteriorating every day in Delhi with the capital registering record high cases consecutively and the tally has been rising every day.

Due to the density of population in the city, the rising numbers are becoming a major cause of concern.
