At least two terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on Monday, officials said.

The killed terrorists have been identified as Kashmir Valley operational commander Riyaz Shethri and his associate Rayees Dar, reported India Today.

Riyaz had been active since 2015 and was categorised as A+ for his role in more than 20 terror-related incidents, including targeted killings, grenade attacks, and terror recruitment, an official told the Indian news channel.

He was carrying a bounty of Rs. 10 lakh on his head.
