Two militants killed in Kashmir encounter

Srinagar, Feb 4 (IBNS): At least two militants have been killed by security forces in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, police said.

According to reports, security forces intercepted a vehicle near village  Amargrah by-pass of  Sopore town some 55 kilometers from winter capital Srinagar, when security forced asked to stop the vehicle the militants fire on police party resulting injuries of two security Jawans.

“The cops on duty opened fire, resulting into the death of two militants,” police official said.

Some arms and ammunition has also been recovered from the two militants and identity of militants are yet to be ascertain.
