Jaipur: Two Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Rajasthan have been arrested on charges of accepting a bribe of Rs 15 lakh with his associate Babulal Meena through a middleman, media reported.

"A team of the ACB caught the two ED inspectors accepting Rs 15 lakh. The ACB is searching the premises of the ED inspectors," the anti-corruption body said.

Allegedly, the two officers were caught taking a bribe of Rs 15 lakh to dismiss a chit fund case from Manipur and not arresting, and seizing the property of the accused.

Naval Kishore Meena was arrested by the Rajasthan ACB after being trapped by the unit in a case involving disproportionate income from unverified sources.

The Rajasthan Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) said that the two ED officers were arrested after a complaint was filed against them.

The initial demand for the bribe was Rs 17 lakh, as per the statement.

The arrest followed a series of raids conducted by the Rajasthan ACB at various locations in the state regarding this matter.
