Two die in road mishap in Solan

Solan, Jul 8 (UNI) Two persons died on the spot when a private car in which they were travelling rolled down into deep gorge near Aambad Kothi village on Solan – Rajgarh road under Sadar police station in this district, on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Bhupender (26) and Ravinder (35), residents of Rajgarh town of Sirmour district.

The bodies of the dead have been handed over to the family members after carrying out post-mortem examination at regional hospital Solan.

Preliminary investigations made by police revealed that the duo were on way to Rajgarh when the driver of the car failed to negotiate a sharp curve near Amabad Kothi village and the vehicle rolled down into around 800 feet deep gorge, leaving duo dead on the spot.

A case has been registered under section 279, 337 and 304 –A of Indian Penal Code.
