Two boys injured in Kolkata blast
Kolkata/UNI: Two boys were injured in a blast near Salt Lake, a posh satellite township of Kolkata, police said on Thursday.
Lokesh Sarkar (9) and Bubai Das (11) were admitted to the Bidhannagar Hospital with burns and wounds.
On hearing the blast at Nayapatti areas, locals rushed out and saw the two boys groaning in pain.
Police were investigating whether explosives were stored or bombs were planted in the area where civic body polls will be held on Jan 22.
