Train derails in Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border, deaths reported

Bengaluru, Feb 13 (IBNS) An express train bound for Ernakulam from Hosur in Bengaluru jumped tracks at a place near Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border on Friday, killing two people at least and injuring over a dozen. Some reports put the death toll at eight.
 
The Bangalore-Ernakulam Intercity express derailed at Anekal-Hosur, which about 45 km from Bengaluru.

Rescue operations are on. More details are awaited.
