Tourist from Maharashtra killed, four injured in Ramban's Ramsoo

Jammu, May 5 (UNI) A tourist from Maharashtra died while four others suffered injuries when a vehicles they were travelling in was hit by a big boulder in Ramsoo area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir.

"A tempo traveler (JK14C-0052) ferrying 12 tourists from Jammu to Srinagar, during wee hours on Sunday, when reached near Ramsoo was hit by a big boulder'', police here said.


According to the police, four persons suffered injuries in an incident and one killed and was identified as Sunil Vishnupanth Kathe,43, son of Vishnupanth Kathe, resident of Gate No 514-B, Plot No 34, Ashok Nagar Road Versavarkar Nagar, District Nasik, Maharashtra.


The injured namely Manisha Sunil Kathe, 39, wife of deceased, Villas Anand Kumar,43, son of Anand Kumar, Mayuri Kumber,17 daughter of Kailash Kumber, were shifted to Ramsoo hospital for treatment, police added.
