| @indiablooms | Jul 19, 2023, at 05:02 pm

Kolkata/UNI: The Trinamool Congress is sending a five-member fact-finding delegation to Manipur on Wednesday.

The delegation comprises Derek O'Brien, MP and Parliamentary Party Leader, Rajya Sabha, Kalyan Banerjee, MP and Chief Whip, Lok Sabha, Dr Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, MP and Deputy Leader, Lok Sabha, Dola Sen, MP, Rajya Sabha and Sushmita Dev, MP, Rajya Sabha, the party informed.

The party also alleged that using foreign visits for political branding is the only smokescreen BJP can offer to cover up its failure in delivering development.

" While Manipur was burning, PM @narendramodi chose to continue his foreign trips instead of standing by our people. Today, we know why, " the TMC stated.

Manipur was on boil following ethnic clashes for long.
