Three injured in bomb explosion at Thalassery

Kannur, Feb 28 (UNI) Three persons suffered minor injuries in a powerful crude bomb explosion near Thalassery town on Thursday morning.

According to police, the explosion occurred while three youths K Praveen (33), P K Rafeek (34) and Shakeer (36) engaged in cleaning the ground in front of BJP Thalassery mandalam committee office.

A crude bomb kept inside a plastic pipe was exploded, police said.

The injured have been admitted to Thalassery general hospital.
