Thoubal: Girl found dead near canal
Imphal, Mar 25 (UNI) Y Monica(20) of Chandrakhong Maning Leikai was found dead today at Leirongthel Ngamuleirou Thokpa Loukhong near Canal no.1 Thoubal Project in Thoubal district.
Police said the house of a person, identified as Leishangthem Ashakumar, was attacked by some people as he was suspected to be involved in the death of the woman.
The girl was reportedly missing for two days.
Police was investigating into the incident.
