Those who take to violence will not be spared: PM Modi after Haryana violence

New Delhi, Aug 27 (IBNS): In the wake of the sporadic violence that erupted in Haryana following the conviction of spiritual leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim for raping two women, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that those who resort to violence will not be spared.

Meanwhile, curfew has been reimposed in Sirsa in Haryana, after being relaxed for few hours, media reports said.

According to media reports, high alert has been sounded in Rohtak jail, where all routine meeting of inmates with their relatives have been suspended for three days by the jail administration.

In Panchkula, which witnessed violence on Friday after a court convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim in a rape case, situation is slowly turning towards normalcy.
