Terrorists attack Pak air base :in Peshwar: Six attackers killed

Peshwar, Sept 18 (IBNS) At least six terrorists were killed when they attacked a Pakistani air force base in the northwestern city of Peshwar on Friday engaging troops in heavy firing, the military said.

"As per initial information, seven to 10 terrorists tried to break deep in the base" but troops managed to contain them, military spokesman Major General Asim Bajwa said in a tweet.

"Total terrorist killed so far 6 now.Clearance ops still underway.Searching for hidden terrorists. One  more soldier injured-6," the tweet said.

He said that operations were still ongoing.
