Terror alert across Punjab after reports of Pak terrorists moving in explosive-laden vehicle

Chandigarh, Apr 6 (IBNS) The Punjab police on Wednesday issued a terror alert following reports of three Pakistani terrorists moving in a vehicle packed with explosives with the intention of launching attacks on three cities, reports said.

According to intelligence reports received by the Punjab police, a  grey Swift Dzire with Jammy and Kashmir number plate is carrying three Pakistani terrorists and a local from Punjab. The vehicle is reportedly packed with explosives including a suicide belt.  

The car with license plate JK-01 AB-2654 could be used in plans to attack Delhi, Goa and Mumbai, the intelligence note says.

Police officers have been asked to ensure careful and detailed security checks at important public and military buildings, markets, malls, train stations and educational institutions.
