Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh meet visiting Sri Lankan PM

New Delhi, Oct 5 (IBNS) : Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday met visiting Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe in New Delhi, reports said.

This was Gandhi's first public engagement after she fell ill in August during  her roadshow in Varanasi.

The Sri Lankan prime minister arrived in Delhi on  Tuesday on a three-day visit. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

He will l also call on President Pranab Mukherjee.
