Soldier allegedly commits suicide inside Jammu based Corps

Jammu, Jun 2 (UNI): A soldier allegedly committed suicide in Jammu based Corps here in city outskirts, police said on Sunday.

The Jawan identified as Signalman Yogesh was found hanging with a tree, few meters away from his barrack inside the Corps in Nagrota area.

Police said that the jawan was a native of village Ullakhpur, Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

"No suicide note or any other document was recovered from the deceased," officials said adding that investigation into the matter has been started to ascertain the cause of extreme step.
