Shooting stones hit 2 Amarnath pilgrims, killed

Srinagar, June 29 (IBNS) At least two Amarnath pilgrims were crushed to death when two large boulders rolled down the snow mountain near the cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

The incident occurred at around 6.25 am.

The deceased were killed when they were coming down the stairs of the shrine, official's said.

The deceased have been identified as Suresh Yadav of Varanasi and Tara Singh of Bathinda.

Amarnath Yatra 2014 was flagged off from Jammu on Friday.
