Sheila Dikshit made immense contribution in development of Delhi: LK Advani

New Delhi, Jul 20 (UNI) Condoling demise of senior Indian National Congress leader Sheila Dikshit on Saturday evening, veteran Bhartiya Janata Party leader LK Advani said she was an able administration and made immense contribution to the development of the National Capital.

“I am deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Sheila Dikshit ji. During my tenure as the Home Minister, Sheila ji was the Chief Minister of Delhi and we shared a very warm and cordial working relationship. An able administrator, she made immense contribution to the development of Delhi,” the former deputy prime minister said in an official statement.


She will be remembered as a fine human being, Advani added.

 

Dikshit, 81, passed away at a private hospital in Delhi after suffering a cardiac arrest.
