| @indiablooms | Mar 10, 2022, at 05:08 pm

Panaji/IBNS: Despite surging ahead of the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is so far stopping short of the majority mark in Goa creating a scenario where smaller parties may come into play.

As per the latest trends, the BJP is leading in 18 of 40 seats while the majority mark is 21.

The Congress, which was ahead of the BJP in the morning, is now leading in 12 seats.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC)-Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) alliance is leading in five seats, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in one and Others in four.
