Security personnel of BJP MP assault Toll Plaza employees in Agra
Agra, Jul 6 (UNI) Security personnel of a senior BJP MP from Etawah and chairperson of the National Schedule Caste commission Dr Ramshanker Kateharia assaulted the employees of the toll plaza and fired in the air to frighten them here on Saturday.
The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV cameras installed at the toll plaza where the MP was present. Five toll plaza employees, including a bouncer, were also injured in the attack.
The incident occurred at the Rahankala Toll, when a luxury bus was stopped by the toll employees and asking it to pay the toll. Annoyed with the act of the toll employees, the security personnel accompanying the MP thrashed the toll plaza employees and even fired in the air.
The MP himself was seen threatening the victims.
The MP was on his way to Etawah from Delhi on a four-vehicle convoy along with a luxury bus.
After the incident, a complaint has been filed at the Etmadpur police station by the owner of the toll plaza.
However, no BJP leader or officials were ready to give their comment on the incident.
