Secularism is in the DNA of the people of India: Vice President Naidu

New Delhi, Feb 26 (IBNS): Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that secularism is in the DNA of the people of India and one need not remind the same.

He was addressing the gathering after releasing the book titled ‘Sahas Ka Doosra Naam Zindagee’ authored by Shri Sanjeev Gupta, here on Monday.

The Vice President said that it is very important to provide training to all the children of the country to make them responsible citizens and they must be shining examples for the next generation.

He further said that children are the future of any nation and society, parents and teachers must create an environment to help children become role models.

Students or children must be taught about the values during their school education, it must be made part in their curriculum, he added.

The Vice President said that children must be taught about national leaders like Gandhiji, Chatrapati Shivaji, Subhash Chandra Bose and other leaders.

The book highlighting brave stories of award winning children must be an inspiration, he added.
