Sashastra Seema Bal, SRM University and ITC make donations for PMNRF

New Delhi, Sept 20 (IBNS) Sashastra Seema Bal Director General B.D. Sharma called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and handed over a demand draft of Rs 2.12 crore towards the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund for flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir.


The Founder Chancellor, SRM University, Chennai, T.R. Pachamuthu, called on  Modi, and handed over a demand draft for Rs. 1 crore for the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.

The Chairman, ITC, Shri Y.C. Deveshwar also called on the Prime Minister,  and handed over a cheque for Rs. 10 crore for the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.

The employees of ITC have also contributed a day`s salary to the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.

The Prime Minister had recently appealed to the people to donate generously to the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund, for the flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir.
