SAD leader shot dead in altercation with neighbour in Punjab

Batala/UNI: A senior SAD leader and vice-president of the party's Gurdaspur unit Dalbir Singh Dhilwan was allegedly shot dead last night in his village Dhilwan in Punjab when he was walking with his two sons Major Singh and Mandeep Singh.

 

It is said his neighbour opened fire on him when he along with his both sons was walking outside his house.

The police said the accused fired six shots to ensure his killing and afterwards his legs were also chopped off creating a horrible scene on the site.

Batala police chief Opinder Singh Ghumman ruled out any kind of political rivalry in the murder of the SAD leader.
