RBI receives bomb threat mail, sender demands FM Nirmala Sitharaman's resignation

Mumbai/IBNS: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday received a bomb threat mail, whose sender had demanded the resignations of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, media reports said. 

The RBI Governor had received the threat mail from an id reading khilafat.india@gmail.com
The threat was given to cause blasts at the RBI new Central Office Building, Fort, HDFC House in Churchgate, ICICI Bank Tower in Bandra-Kurla Complex.
 
However, police did not find anything suspicious from any of the places. 
 

"11 bombs are planted at different locations in Mumbai and explosions will take place at 1.30 pm at the RBI new Central Office building, Fort, HDFC House in Churchgate, and ICICI Bank Tower in Bandra-Kurla Complex. 

"All the 11 bombs will blast one by one (sic)," the mail said as quoted by NDTV.

A case has been registered against an unidentified person going by the complaint filed by RBI.
