Rajnath asks to be patient on Dawood arrest
New Delhi, Dec 27 (IBNS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said India has adopted a wait and watch policy for arresting India's most wanted terrorist and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
"Dawood Ibrahim is one of the most wanted people for India. We have repeatedly asked Pakistan to hand over Dawood Ibrahim. Let's be patient; wait and watch, action will be taken soon," Singh told mediapersons.
Singh's comments came after western intelligence agency caught Ibrahim on tape while he was speaking to associates in Dubai regarding a property deal.
"The agency claimed to have recorded a telephonic conversation involving the underworld don, the location of which has been traced to Clifton suburb in Pakistan's Karachi. In the recording, Dawood seems to be having a conversation with someone in Dubai regarding a property deal. Indian external intelligence agency Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) has sought the phone recording," CNN-IBN reported.
