Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot tests COVID-19 positive

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said he has tested COVID-19 positive.

He said he has remained asymptomatic so far.

The CM said he will continue his works by remaining in isolation.

India's daily COVID-19 rise continues to witness a spike as 3,79,257 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Thursday.

During the same period, 3645 deaths have been reported due to the disease.

The death toll due to the deadly virus now stands at 204832.

There are 30,84,814 active cases in the country at present.
