Rahul Gandhi to start election campaign in Punjab today

New Delhi, Jan 27 (IBNS) : Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will address a series of public rallies in Punjab on Friday starting a three-day electioneering to lead the party in its offensive against the Prakash Singh Badal Government, reports said.

He will  campaign in Rampura Phul, Talwandi Sabo and Bathinda Urban, besides Majthia on Friday.

Congress leader and former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who joined he party recently from BJP, will also join  Gandhi in the campaign.

On Saturday,  Rahul is scheduled tp visit Jalalabad, Budlada and Dhuri and address different election rallies.

He will speak at rallies  in Gidderbaha and Lambi on Sunday.
