Bengaluru/IBNS: Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi will kickstart his campaign for the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections from Belagavi on Monday, media reports said.

The Wayanad Lok Sabha MP will address a mega rally in the Belagavi district.

In the rally, Rahul will announce the fourth poll promise of the Congress, which is aiming to unseat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

If voted to power, the Congress has promised to provide 200 units of free power to every household, a monthly assistance of Rs. 2,000 to the woman head of every family and 10 kg of free rice to all members of Below Poverty Line (BPL) households.

Karnataka will go to the elections in May this year.
