Rahul Gandhi meets Emmanuel Macron, discusses issues of liberal democracies

New Delhi, Mar 13 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi has met French President Emmanuel Macron and held discussions on several issues related to the liberal democracies.

Macron is presently on a visit to India.

Macron had a discussion with Rahul along with former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Rahul has tweeted a picture saying, "Yesterday, I met with French President @EmmanuelMacron. We discussed a range of issues common to our liberal democracies, including fake news. I look forward to building on this meeting and to collaborating with him on global challenges such as #ClimateChange."

Macron reached Uttar Pradesh on Monday and inaugurated several projects with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
