Rahul Gandhi attends screening of film Fading Glory in Amritsar
Gandhi said, "I was in Punjab a few years ago and had said that this is a big problem."
Gandhi also stated that while he made the observation, the then Chief Minister of Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal had argued that 70 percent of it did not exist.
Gandhi said, "The question is not about 70 percent or 55 percent of 40 percent. It is about the way Punjab is now. they are not following the right path."
He said that the younger generation lacks inspiration and that someone should provide them with better opportunities.
Concluding his speech, Gandhi said a lot of challenges lie in front of Punjab CM Amarinder Singh and he must tackle those wisely.
