Radha Krishna Kinni appointed as secretary (security) in Cabinet Secretariat

Patna, Sept 25 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): The appointment committee on cabinet has approved the appointment of Bihar cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) official Radha Krishna Kinni as secretary (security) in Cabinet Secretariat, media reports said.

A 1981-batch Bihar cadre IPS official Kinni is at presently working as Director General, National Crime Records Bureau. He will take over the charge next Friday.

The secretary (security) is the administrative head of Special Protection Groups (SPG) and responsible for monitoring security of the PM, former prime ministers and members of their immediate families in India and abroad, reports said.

Likewise, the reins of National Security Guards (NSG) which was raised for combating terror activities in the country has come in the hands of Bihar-born official Sudhir Pratap Singh.

Singh, a 1983 batch Rajasthan cadre IPS official, has been made the Director General of NSG. He hails from Amnour block in Saran district. His father Vishwanath Singh was Bihar Agriculture director.
